Pork Chop and Mac
Ingredients (serves 2‑3)
2 pork chops (≈1 lb)
1 cup dry macaroni
1 cup milk (or water + powdered milk)
2 Tbsp butter or oil
½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar or any cheap cheese)
1 medium zucchini, sliced
Salt, pepper, garlic powder – about ½ tsp each
Optional: pinch of paprika or dried herbs

Instructions
1. Season chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder. Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a skillet over medium‑high; sear 4‑5 min per side until browned. Remove and rest.
2. Boil macaroni in salted water 8‑10 min until al dente; drain.
3. In the same pot, melt butter, stir in milk, then whisk in cheese until melted. Toss in macaroni.
4. Steam zucchini slices 3‑4 min until tender.
5. Slice pork, plate with mac & cheese and zucchini. Serve hot.
Low‑cost tips – buy pork chops on sale and freeze, use store‑brand macaroni and shredded cheese, and steam zucchini in the microwave to save fuel. Enjoy!
